The Solutions Architect is a senior individual contributor that coaches and mentors others while delivering excellence on client and internal projects. Solutions Architects are dedicated to combining business analysis and technical skills to match client requirements with right-sized-fit designs to implement MediSked’s platforms and services.

    The Solutions Architect is a member of the Solution Design & Delivery team and works side-by-side with client teams and an internal team that includes Strategic Growth, Engagement Management, Implementation, Training, and Documentation resources. Projects vary from large multi-year implementations that impact hundreds of thousands of lives to smaller projects. The Solutions Architect leads requirements gathering, process mapping, producing functional specifications, and assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and translating vision and needs for internal teams at MediSked. These activities may be in relation to an existing project, or within the sales process before a project has been approved, in order to support discovery/scope of work production efforts. You should also be able to regularly update the company (conversations across multiple teams) and clients on any developments in Solutions Architecture projects.

    This role includes training, creating documentation, workflow and specification mapping, consulting services on best-practice application use, report design/data visualization and analysis, and regulatory compliance. Successful Solutions Architects are experienced leaders with a history of strong results in business analysis, project management, and have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail that allow them to supervise lengthy and complicated project teams and project timelines through completion within time and budget constraints. They also possess polished presentation abilities and are able to bring confidence and patience to the table, especially when working with potential or current clients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Client-Facing Success

    o Partner with clients to understand their needs, define business requirements, and translate them into technical requirements, solution designs, and high-quality consulting artifacts

    o Anticipate client needs and build subject matter expertise to gather requirements effectively and to develop scope of work documents

    o Coach, mentor, and collaborate with a team of implementation and training, compliance, data research, user experience, product management, engineering, and test resources through the design and delivery of MediSked solutions to clients

    o Gather and prioritize client feedback and provide internal and client-facing follow-up to make appropriate progress towards client success

    o Manage communication and expectations with client and internal stakeholders

    o Provide advice and a consultative approach with clients to discuss complex workflows and proactively make high-quality solution recommendations within more than one line of business

    o Forecast client needs and challenges outside of contractual deliverables and regularly take preemptive action to address those items

    · Internal Strategy & Operations

    o Define methodology and best practices for the design and delivery of analytics solutions

    o Design and execute company-wide strategies that drive MediSked solution adoption, including analytics, roll-out plans, and data solutions

    o Partner with leadership across MediSked to centralize capabilities and best practices

    o Identify opportunities for operational improvement within MediSked and execute cross-functional initiatives and process automations that improve efficiency, productivity, and performance

    o Build and manage status reports, scope of work documents, dashboards, and reporting for leadership to track the status and impact of MediSked solutions

    o Effectively coach colleagues on client and industry priorities and trends that should inform product and strategy decisions

    o Assist the sales team with scoping sessions, product demos, conference calls, and trade shows

    o Participate in application testing and provide feedback to the internal cross-functional teams

    o Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues

    o Ensure a smooth client transition from implementation to ongoing support

    · Perform other functions as required

    REQUIREMENTS:

    · 10+ years experience implementing enterprise software solutions

    · 10+ years experience training in a professional environment

    · Professional certification in Project Management and/or Business Analysis is a plus

    · Experience producing high-quality artifacts using standards including UML, BPML

    · Ability to travel nationwide up to 40%

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio

    · Familiarity with writing SQL queries and extracting, transforming, and loading relational databases (i.e. SQL Server)

    · Intermediate Microsoft Office experience

    · Ability to make informed decisions independently

    · Exceptional public speaking skills and ability to conduct remote meetings

    · Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

    · Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals of varied technical and organizational skill levels

    · Experience in implementing clinical systems and healthcare (payer) systems is a plus

    · Flexibility and willingness to contribute outside dedicated job role
