    Job Description

    We're looking for an experienced Media Strategy Analyst to partner with Strategy Directors and collaborate with Integrated Planning teams and other capability leads throughout dentsu. You will have a passion and curiosity across audience and cultural insights, media trends, creative influences, and business dynamics to build innovative, informed recommendations for communications and performance strategy and media executions.

    A strong knowledge of Audience Insights and Media will develop insights that promote outcome-led planning. You will stay up to date with the competitive landscape as it pertains to the creative work, brand tone, channel choices, use of media and ideas within the category and industry.

    We need someone with experience with communications and a hunger to grow. You will be familiar with communications strategy and/or media or performance strategy; someone who is a team player and has a collaborative spirit.

    This is a remote position reporting to Senior Director, Strategy.

    Responsibilities

    Main Trait: Clever Storyteller: Experience using data and insights to tell a story about the audience, competition etc., and can create relevant strategies for clients

    • Define and frame problems and solutions in unexpected, interesting ways
    • Present to clients daily
    • Proficient in writing compelling case studies and award entries (Effies, etc) and incorporates this thinking in brand campaigns
    • Build and grow relationships with our teams, clients and external agency partners
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, balancing the needs of the client with the needs of the team/agency to provide a "one team" mentality
    • Master of the details but able to keep the larger vision in mind
    • Knowledgeable in communication planning with the ability to identify goals, barriers and tasks alongside other departments to provide 360 plans
    • Create communication frameworks to define approaches to business problems and inspire innovation solutions
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience at a media/advertising agency, or in a marketing position
    • Expert level on some or all the following media research tools: Comscore, Nielsen Media Suite Tools (Npower, Ad Intel, Audio, Social), MRI-Simmons, Vivvix (Kantar), Pathmatics, SimilarWeb, SEMRush, Social Media Tools (e.g. Netbase), and MS office suite
    • Uncover insights from large and small data sets to explain a story. This goes beyond just numbers on a page, but true insights to help guide strategies for our clients' businesses.

    Additional Information

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000-$96,025. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
