    With a corporate headquarters in Lakewood, NJ , we are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Medicaid Coordinator who understands the long-term care landscape and can effectively educate families about our services.

    We are looking for an experienced Medicaid Coordinator with a background in skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare admissions. This role is ideal for a Business Office Manager (BOM), Admissions Director, or Sales Director who has worked in an skilled nursing facility and understands Medicaid coordination.

    As a Medicaid Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for families who need assistance navigating the Medicaid application process. This position involves extensive phone-based communication , where you will educate prospective clients about our services, guide them through the Medicaid eligibility process, and help them take the necessary steps to secure financial assistance.

    This is an in-office position based in Lakewood, NJ , requiring strong communication skills, customer service expertise, and an ability to explain complex Medicaid regulations in a clear and supportive manner. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and skilled nursing facility partners to ensure that applications are completed accurately and efficiently , resulting in a higher approval rate for Medicaid coverage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engage with families to educate them about Medicaid eligibility and how our services can help them navigate the process.
    • Conduct phone-based consultations to explain the Medicaid application steps, answer questions, and provide guidance on necessary documentation.
    • Manage a pipeline of prospective clients , tracking their progress through the Medicaid approval journey and following up to ensure completion.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate application processing, ensuring all required paperwork is submitted correctly and on time.
    • Act as a trusted advisor , addressing concerns, explaining Medicaid requirements, and simplifying complex topics to help families feel confident in their decisions.
    • Build relationships with skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, and other senior care providers to facilitate referrals and assist more families.
    • Stay up to date on Medicaid policies and regulations to provide accurate, current information to clients and internal teams.
    • Work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment , balancing multiple client cases while maintaining high-quality service and professionalism.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Must have Medicaid coordination experience and a deep understanding of the Medicaid application process.
    • Preferred background: Business Office Manager (BOM), Admissions Director, or Sales Director in an skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
    • Excellent phone communication skills with the ability to educate and engage families about Medicaid and long-term care financing.
    • Strong customer service and sales skills, with a proven ability to guide people through complex decision-making processes.
    • Ability to work independently in an office environment while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and follow up with clients efficiently.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
    • Earning Potential: Up to $100,000 within the first year, based on performance and client conversions.
