Responsibilities: • Review Medicaid applications and documents meticulously to ensure accuracy and completeness • Provide guidance to clients regarding Medicaid eligibility criteria and assist with the application and qualification process • Conduct thorough research on Medicaid regulations • Effectively communicate with clients, government agencies, facilities, and financial institutions to address Medicaid-related matters • Maintain well-organized case files and documentation pertaining to Medicaid cases • Perform detailed audits on financial accounts and other assets, and create relevant spreadsheets • Assist in drafting deeds, promissory notes, and other necessary documents under attorney supervision Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should have over 1 year of experience working as a paralegal specializing in Medicaid law • Proficiency in understanding and applying Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements is a must • Strong research skills and the ability to analyze information effectively are essential for this role • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with clients, government agencies, and other involved parties • Being detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities is crucial for managing Medicaid cases efficiently • Candidates should possess computer proficiency to handle digital documentation and research effectively • Paralegal degree preferred, but not required Compensation: $22 - $29 hourly depending on experience
