Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Pulmonary Sleep & Allergy Consultants. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff with various clinical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.

Record patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and symptoms.

Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.

Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records.

Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.

Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus.

Experience with performing spirometer tests is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
