    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care in our medical facility. This role is vital for maintaining a positive patient experience and assisting healthcare providers in delivering excellent care.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Prepare patients for examination by taking medical histories, vital signs, and assisting with the physical examination as needed.
    - Administer medications as directed by the physician.
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    - Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up appointments and referrals.
    - Handle front office duties including answering phones, greeting patients, and managing correspondence.
    - Assist with insurance verification and billing processes as necessary.
    - Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies.
    - Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
    - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
    - Keep abreast of developments in medical technology and procedures through continuing education and training.

    Qualifications:
    - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
    - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification preferred.
    - Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
    - Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care.
    - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    - Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.

    Physical Requirements:
    - Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
    - Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
    - Manual dexterity to perform clinical tasks and manipulate medical equipment.
