Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Medical Assistant to join our team! If you are energetic and have a strong work ethic then we are looking for you. We are a busy practice, specializing in family medicine and weight loss. We are dedicated to providing quality medical care to all of our patients. Your day would consist of greeting patients in a pleasant and professional manner. Taking and documenting vitals. Performing back office testing to include but not limited to: urine testing, glucose testing, strep and flu testing, Ekg's, breathing treatments, COVID screenings, blood draw and injections.

Responsibilities

Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes.

Clean exam rooms and keep them stocked

Clearing your voicemail and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs

Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures

Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

Qualifications

BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant mandatory

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail

2 years working in a family medicine/ internal medicine practice
