    Your Role as a Medical Assistant:

    As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care, supporting our licensed providers and ensuring a seamless experience for all patients. Your responsibilities will include:

    Key Responsibilities:

    Obtaining patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit

    Preparing patients for physical exams

    Explaining procedures and treatments to patients

    Ensuring all ordered tests are performed accurately and promptly

    Administering prescribed medications and treatments

    Performing blood draws and lab tests for in-house and reference lab processing

    Conducting drug screening procedures following regulations

    Documenting patient immunizations and administering vaccines

    Coordinating physician referrals and pre-certifications when needed

    Maintaining exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and managing supplies

    Accurately documenting patient care and responding to lab messages

    Assisting with other duties as assigned

    What We're Looking For:

    Previous Medical Assistant experience with certification

    A strong team player with excellent critical thinking skills

    Ability to anticipate patient and provider needs

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
