    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team Full-time at our private medical practice. We offer a fantastic schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday-Thursday. Work-Life Balance is built in with 3-day weekends every week!

    As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will set the stage for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also help manage the medical supplies inventory, set up and calibrate machines and testing equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term placement where they can build their skills in a supportive environment. They have excellent customer service skills, an interest in learning more about the occupational medicine specialty, and previous experience with worker's compensation, Washington State LNI, DOT exams, spirometry, audiology, and BAT.     Responsibilities

    Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment

    Clean instruments and equipment after use

    Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs

    Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures

    Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

    Qualifications

    Certified Medical Assistant Credential with Washington State DOH REQUIRED

    Excellent customer service skills

    Strong attention to detail

    Spanish Speakers Highly Encouraged to Apply!
