We are a busy, friendly, independent medical office that has been established in Waynesboro for over 40 years and are currently looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team! We provide care to all ages from infant to the elderly and need an upbeat, energetic professional with a strong service ethic and enthusiastic desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients. We are a family oriented office that truly values our employees and their concerns.

You must be able to perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of our Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. These duties may include: scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records within our MEDENT EHR system, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for their medical visit, assisting providers during the examination, drawing blood for lab work, taking EKGs, and administering medications as directed. Must be able to multi-task and have excellent customer service skills as well as a commitment to being a team-player. Must be able to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Salary commensurate with experience. Our Medical Assistants get one dedicated day off during the week. Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
