**We are looking for a certified Medical Assistant proficient in blood draws. Willing to work as a back office medical assistant and front office as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will prepare for each patient visit by preparing charts, confirming authorizations, providing routine support, and assisting with keeping track of imaging and preop clearances. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience. We are a small Orthopaedic office looking for a team player to join our office.

Responsibilities

Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment

Maintain medical supply inventory

Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs

Blood draws for PRP injections

Sending chart notes and Op Reports to PCP offices.

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant desired

Blood Draws

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail

Hours: -Monday and Thursday 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM -Wednesday and Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM **Must be willing to travel to our San Juan Capistrano office 2 Wednesday mornings a month.
