Job Purpose and Basic Function
Responsible for greeting, instructing, directing and scheduling patients; and assisting providers with direct patient care according to established standards and practice. **

Description of Primary Responsibilities and Duties**

1. Prepares patients for examinations and treatments and documents in patient record.
2. Supports provider within scope.
3. Prepares and administers treatments and tests per written order and documents in patient record.
4. Patient / community interaction.
5. Patient registration.
6. Appointment scheduling.

Licenses & Certifications

1. Certification as a medical assistant
2. Current basic life support certification
