    PIH Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our Call Center team in a full-time capacity, focusing on Refill Telephone Triage during day shifts. The Medical Assistant will operate under general supervision, managing a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency. The primary responsibilities include handling prescription refills, faxing prescriptions, and ensuring that triage calls are directed to the appropriate personnel or service line. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of communication between patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers within the scope of practice for a medical assistant.     Required Experience

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
    • Minimum 2 years of medical assistant experience
    • Experience with handling prescription refills
    • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
