Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant/Surgical Coordinator to join a dynamic multi-specialty facility in the Bronx, NY. This role combines clinical support with surgical coordination, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Licensure: None required, but certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (multi-specialty or surgical setting preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, appointment scheduling, and clinical procedures (e.g., vitals, phlebotomy).
- Soft Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Support:
- Assist providers with patient intake, vitals, and minor procedures.
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterilization of instruments.
- Surgical Coordination:
- Schedule surgeries, pre-op appointments, and follow-ups.
- Liaise between patients, surgeons, and insurance providers.
- Maintain accurate surgical records and consent forms.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage patient records, referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Provide bilingual patient education on pre/post-operative care.
