Medical Assistant/Technician for Spravato and Tms Administration

This is an opportunity as a Medical Assistant/Technician in psychiatry with a breakthrough Spravato and TMS therapies for the treatment of depression.
This role will be in charge administering patient care for Spravato and TMS. The Technician will be trained and certified to administer in-office treatments at our Wicker Park office location, under the direction of our treating physician.
The position is perfect for an individual who is excited to work with a collaborative team ito make a difference in patient care. Health care experience is preferred. The most important skill is communicating with patients and making them feel comfortable and safe while having good bedside manner. Strong attention to detail is required and the ability to follow a daily treatment checklist. This individual needs to be able to respond effectively in an emergency situation for patient care, possess strong listening and communication skills, be attentive to detail, and have the willingness to learn the use of a medical technology.
Minimum Qualifications:
·Health Care Clinical Professional experience preferred but not required
Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role
Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient schedules for Spravato treatment.
Provide support during treatment to patients struggling with depression or anxiety.
Administer psychiatric rating scales and help patients on completion of scales.
Answer incoming calls to educate prospective and incoming patients regarding Spravato treatment
Schedule patients, coordinate new patient appointments and follow up visits.
Administer Spravato treatment based on specific Psychiatric Protocol (we provide all necessary training).
Monitor all aspects of the patient experiences during patient care.
Schedule and write patient notes in EMR system.

Offering (2) 8 hour shifts: 9:00am-5:00pm and 11:30am-7:30pm
