    Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will prepare for patient visits, support our medical staff, and play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive timely updates on their health and care. Your responsibilities will include managing medical supplies, setting up testing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, a passion for learning, and prior office experience.

    Key Responsibilities: Prepare for patient visits, including setting up medical equipment and reviewing charts Perform standard diagnostic procedures such as 12-lead electrocardiograms and pulmonary function tests efficiently Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms, waiting areas, and office spaces, including changing table paper and cleaning equipment Assist with translations for patients and providers, if fluent in additional languages Answer phone inquiries, identify patient needs, and provide information about services Support providers with basic medical care and procedures Track lab results, process prescription calls, and handle general office duties

    Competencies: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Exceptional customer service skills to enhance interactions with patients and staff Understanding of healthcare policies and procedures Commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment

    Minimum Qualifications: At least one year of experience in a medical setting preferred Medical Assistant education required CPR certification Strong customer service and communication skills Familiarity with modern office practices, including email communication Ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
