Position Key Details:
- Title: Certified Medical Assistant (Level 1)
- Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE
- Bilingual Pay Policy: We also have a Bilingual Pay Policy! If you pass the language proficiency test, you are eligible to receive a $1.25 per hour increase.
- Schedule: Full-time; Monday – Friday; variable shifts between 8 am – 6:30 pm

Additional qualifications include:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally recognized program (or on your way to getting it within 3 months of hire)
- Current BLS certification
- Fluent in Spanish (¡Hablas español? ¡Perfecto!)

- Exceptional interpersonal skills (you make friends with everyone, even your morning coffee)
- Detail-oriented (you can spot a missing puzzle piece from a mile away)

Your Role: As a Medical Assistant, you'll be part of a tight-knit clinical team, ensuring our patients get the best care possible. Your patient care duties will include:
- Managing the full patient experience, both in our clinic and on our awesome mobile unit
- Documenting patient history and vitals in the EMR like a pro
- Providing follow-up instructions and assisting with referrals
- Supporting our rockstar providers during exams and procedures
- Being the lab specimen hero, collecting and delivering with precision
- Nailing those CLIA-waived diagnostic tests and documenting results
- Giving basic first aid under the healthcare provider's guidance
- Helping with immunizations, injections, medication administration, and blood draws
- Keeping tabs on client prescriptions and making sure they get what they need
- Scheduling those crucial follow-up appointments
- Keeping patient files in the EMR shipshape
