Assists OB/GYN physician or Nurse Practitioner in performing office examinations. Administers prescribed medications, simple treatment and therapeutic procedures as directed by OB/GYN physician. Gathers patient information and conducts limited evaluation as required. Performs office performed CLIA waived tests as directed by OB/GYN physician. Performs related work such as phlebotomy as required. Assists with patient and family education independently or as delegated by the OB/GYN physician. Orders medical supplies and pharmaceuticals in accordance with inventory requirements. Cleans and stocks patient exam rooms.
