    Position Summary: Bridgemark Behavioral Health Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our team. This position is responsible for managing medical accounts, including insurance verification, claims generation, payment posting, follow-up on aging accounts, addressing denials, and ensuring efficient revenue cycle management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Verify client eligibility and benefits for Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.

    Perform charge entry and generate clean, accurate claims for submission.

    Post insurance payments and reconcile remittances with precision.

    Follow up on aged accounts and denied claims; research and rebill as needed.

    Contact insurance companies to resolve discrepancies, delays, and unpaid claims.

    Update and maintain accurate weekly billing reports and eligibility logs.

    Conduct provider insurance credentialing and perform timely follow-ups.

    Stay up to date on insurance policy changes and payer-specific requirements.

    Collaborate with providers, internal teams, and insurance representatives to ensure smooth billing workflows.

    Maintain professional communication with clients and third-party payers, including discussing financial issues when required.

    Assist with additional billing, collection, or reporting tasks as assigned.

    Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent (required).

    Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing, including charge entry, payment posting, and account follow-up.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

    Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

    Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

    Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Strong problem-solving abilities and the initiative to address billing issues.

    Goal-oriented, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

    Comfortable discussing financial matters with clients and insurance professionals.
