    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Medical Biller Manager to join our team! As a Medical Biller Manager, you will be working closely with clients to answer questions related to billing, processing all forms needed for insurance billing purposes, and collecting necessary documentation from clients. You will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's billing process, including generating invoices, managing accounts receivable, ensuring accurate payment collection, and supervising a team of billing specialists, with a primary focus on maximizing revenue by maintaining timely and compliant billing practices while adhering to company policies and industry regulations; often requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to address billing discrepancies and client inquiries.

    Responsibilities

    Overseeing the daily billing activities, including invoice generation, submission, and tracking.

    Assist clients with processing insurance claims through both private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare

    Managing billing systems and software to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

    Note and process all necessary forms from the insurance

    Identifying and resolving billing errors or discrepancies.

    Monitoring outstanding accounts receivable and identifying overdue payments.

    Implementing strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding debt.

    Generating billing reports and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    Identifying potential revenue leakage and implementing corrective actions.

    Assist patients in navigating the billing and insurance landscape, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures

    Work with doctor’s offices and hospitals to obtain charge information and billing details

    Follow up with clients and payments, as needed

    Maintains the highest level of confidentiality

    Qualifications

    Several years of experience in billing operations, ideally with supervisory experience.

    Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform decision-making.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

    High level of accuracy and meticulousness in handling billing data.
