    Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Billing/Insurance Specialist & Front Desk Support team member. This dual-role position involves managing insurance claims and billing processes while also providing support at the front desk to ensure a smooth and welcoming patient experience. As a Billing Specialist, you will handle insurance-related inquiries, process documentation, and collaborate with clients and providers to ensure accurate billing. As Front Desk Support, you will assist with scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable communicating over the phone and in person.     Responsibilities:

    Billing & Insurance

    Assist clients with processing insurance claims through private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare

    Verify insurance information and update patient records

    Accurately process necessary insurance forms and documentation

    Collaborate with physicians’ offices and hospitals to obtain billing and charge information

    Enter billing and payment information into the system without errors

    Follow up on outstanding claims or payments as needed

    Front Desk Support

    Check patients in and out for appointments

    Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments

    Answer phones, assist clients with questions, take messages, and screen calls

    Collect co-pays and process payments

    Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area

    Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain the highest level of confidentiality

    Qualifications:

    Strong customer service and communication skills

    Previous experience in medical billing and coding required

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Experience with QuickBooks preferred

    Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in a healthcare setting

    Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
