Position Overview
Agape Mental Health Services is a mental health agency committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our clients. We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team on a part-time basis, working 30-35 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of $80,000-$100,000.
Responsibilities
· Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health disorders.
· Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring detailed and clear documentation of all interactions and treatments.
· Respond to emails and correspondence promptly and efficiently.
· Sign documents and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
· Schedule and confirm client appointments, ensuring optimal time management and adherence to agency protocols.
· Inform clients of their next appointments and provide any necessary follow-up information.
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations and standards of practice.
· Experience in conducting power point presentations.
Qualifications
· Current Maryland State Psychiatrist License or
· PMHNP Nursing License.
· A valid driver's license.
· Provide a current driving record.
· Must pass a background check.
· Proof of auto insurance.
· A TB test (taken within 3 years).
· Professional Liability Insurance.
· Must have a NPI number.
· CPR and First Aid required (we also provide training)
· Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise notes.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
· Proficiency in scheduling and managing appointments.
· Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Compassionate and patient-centered approach to mental health care.
