JOB TITLE (\#3100): Medical Expert Consultant - New York State (All Counties)

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking qualified Medical Experts to provide essential expertise for the investigation and prosecution of professional medical conduct cases. This role involves critical review and analysis of medical practices and patient care to ensure adherence to professional standards. Consultants will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the medical profession through comprehensive evaluations and expert testimony.

Requirements of the Medical Expert Consultant:

• Must hold a current and valid license to practice medicine in New York State.
• Must be board-certified in their respective specialty.
• Actively practicing medicine with at least six years of post-license experience.
• No history of disciplinary action in any state.

Schedule of the Medical Expert Consultant:

• Availability as per need.

Benefits of the Medical Expert Consultant:

• $105/hour for record review and report writing.
• $300/hour for pre-hearing consultations with the State’s attorney.
• $1250/day for expert testimony at Administrative Hearings.

Responsibilities of the Medical Expert Consultant:

Case Analysis:

• Review patient records related to professional medical conduct cases.
• Conduct thorough research on current medical standards and practices.

Expert Reporting:

• Draft detailed written opinions and reports based on the findings from record reviews.
• Provide clear and concise assessments to assist staff attorneys in case preparation.

Legal Support:

• Offer pre-hearing consultation with the State’s attorneys to prepare for administrative proceedings.
• Provide expert guidance on medical standards and best practices.

Expert Testimony:

• Deliver expert testimony at State Board for Professional Medical Conduct Administrative Hearings.
• Articulate professional opinions clearly and effectively during hearings.

Collaborative Engagement:

• Work closely with staff attorneys and other involved parties to facilitate the successful resolution of cases.
