Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and engaging individual for a fast-paced physical therapy office front desk reception position. If you are organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and outgoing, you could be right for the job. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Job Duties:
Welcome and greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone
Answer the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette
Collect payments and post daily charges
Schedule appointments in person or by telephone
Verify insurance benefits and request authorizations as necessary
Complete medical records requests
Maintain operations by following policies and procedures
Skills and qualifications include: attention to detail, multi-tasking, flexibility, telephone skills, customer service, scheduling, professionalism and understanding of health insurance.
Qualifications
Prior medical office experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
