    Paralegal - Personal Injury Law Firm, Nassau County Seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal for onsite position in Uniondale, NY. Duties involve evaluating nursing home injury and medical malpractice claims, conducting client interviews, maintaining frequent communication with clients, acquiring and organizing medical records, and compiling demand packages. Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery, and expert witness exchanges. Calendar management skills are vital. Familiarity with File Vine software is preferred. Spanish Speaking a plus. Responsibilities: YOU will be responsible for 4 things : • Client development – intake calls & follow-up with existing clients • Mastering our case management system • Meticulous follow-up for potential and existing clients • Manage a caseload with timely follow-up for records, discovery, and case documents Qualifications: There are 3 Essential Requirements to work with our team: • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Technologically Savvy – consultations, electronic filing, & Docu-Sign, you must be comfortable using technology • Must be comfortable being part of a high-performing team Other qualifications: • Experience handling medical malpractice or nursing home neglect matters from intake to trial preparation, preferably with both legal and paralegal qualifications • Proficiency in electronic filing • Exceptional communication and organizational skills • Previous management experience is highly desirable • Adept in negotiation techniques • Ability to drive the firm to higher levels of success Compensation: $35 per hour
