    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Medical Secretary to join our team! As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for greeting patients who come in the door, checking them in, and pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate offices, and maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is great at multitasking, has strong customer service skills, and works well independently and within a team.

    Responsibilities

    Greet patients who walk through the door

    Ascertain their needs and get them checked in

    Pull their medical records, or take a new patient history

    Answer the phone and schedule appointments or answer patient questions

    Maintain comprehensive medical records, as needed

    Obtain and process patient payments

    Qualifications

    Strong customer service skills

    Excellent organizational skills

    Attention to detail

    Familiarity with basic computer programs

    Previous office experience desired

    This secretary position can be arranged a full-time position or flexible part-time position, further details can be discussed in person.
