    Job Overview:

    The Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with solid tumor or hematologic conditions, ensuring they receive the best possible care. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans and support patients and their families through each phase of care.

    Essential Functions:

    • Diagnose solid tumor and hematologic conditions and determine treatment plans using various diagnostic techniques (biopsies, imaging, etc.).
    • Design individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
    • Reassess the progress of the disease as treatment progresses and pursue alternative therapies as needed, as well as palliative care when appropriate.
    • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists for comprehensive cancer care.
    • Educate patients and their families about cancer treatments, side effects, and post-treatment care.
    • Conduct follow-ups to assess treatment efficacy and manage side effects.
    • Participate in case reviews, clinical trials, and continuous education to stay updated on advancements in oncology.
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain detailed patient records.

    Qualifications:

    • Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
    • Licensed MD or DO in NY
    • Medical Oncology and Hematology board-certified or board-certified soon after hire.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Ability to multi-task and use multiple systems, including our EMR to provide medical information and patient support/follow up after the clinical visit
