  • Responsibilities

    The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role will involve developing and implementing compliance programs, monitoring operations for compliance risks, and providing guidance to internal teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Compliance Program Development and Implementation:
      • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs to address various regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, FDA, and state-specific laws.
      • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.
      • Develop policies, procedures, and training materials to promote compliance within the organization.
    • Compliance Monitoring and Auditing:
      • Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs.
      • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update compliance programs accordingly.
      • Investigate and address compliance issues and non-conformities.
    • Training and Education:
      • Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels.
      • Provide ongoing compliance education and guidance to internal teams.
    • Vendor Management:
      • Oversee vendor compliance activities, including vendor due diligence, contract review, and monitoring vendor performance.
      • Ensure that vendors are adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
    • Incident Management:
      • Respond to compliance incidents and investigations.
      • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance-related issues.

    Qualifications:

       
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. 
    • 5+ years of experience in compliance or operations management, preferably in the healthcare industry. 
    • Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, and state-specific laws.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Healthcare Compliance Associate (CHC) certification.
    • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
    • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Compensation
    $90,000-$100,000 per year
