Job Description
The MR-Linac, MRL Physicist (Physics V) reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The MRL Physicist is responsible for all aspects related to the physics of MRL in the department of Radiation Oncology (hereafter referred to as "departments") and supports the clinical needs of the department.

Qualifications
** Required** :
Board Certified in Therapeutic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
PhD or equivalent in Physics or Engineering.
Registered with Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety as an approved Therapeutic Radiological Physicist.
Demonstrated excellence as a Radiation Physicist in Radiation Oncology.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Active record in independent clinical research with publication in peer reviewed journals.
