Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Representative
Chesapeake ENT, a division of Chesapeake Specialty Care has an opening for a hybrid position. This person will be cross trained to work in the call center and also front desk.
This position will be in our Owings Mills office. The hours of work are varied Monday through Friday, but between business hours of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM in 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. No weekends.
Duties/Responsibilities for front desk:
Register, check in, and check out patients.
Schedule appointments.
Collect copays and patient balances.
Assist patients with insurance documents and billing questions.
Ensure that patients have completed all necessary paperwork.
Scan and enter referrals.
Assist with pulling charts and filing paperwork.
Maintain reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
Other duties as assigned.
