Job Summary
We are seeking a Front Desk Specialist to join our team! As a Front Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for greeting patients who come in the door, checking them in, and pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate offices, and maintain excellent records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.
Responsibilities
Greet patients as they arrive and provide an excellent patient experience
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
Assist patients with paperwork, including consent forms, verify insurance, collect and post payments
Maintain a clean and inviting environment
Administrative functions that include but are not limited to data entry, photocopying, faxing and obtaining records, sending referrals, ordering supplies, filing, daily appointment prepping
Assist with patient treatments as needed
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Work well with a team
Familiar with computers, computer programs and scheduling
Office Working Hours Monday 7am - 5pm Tuesday 7am - 1pm Wednesday 7am - 5pm Thursday 7am - 1pm Friday 7am -5pm Saturday & Sunday - Office Closed
