    Part time Friday/Saturday/Sunday

    The part time weekends schedule: Friday 8:15am-3:30pm, Saturday 7:15am-3:00pm and Sunday 8:15am-3:30pm

    Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.

    Front desk team and is responsible for verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, check in, check out, collecting copayments and balances.

    You must be able to demonstrate fluency in Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial insurances. Deep understanding of different kinds of health insurance and differences of in- and out-of-network benefits along with payment expectations at time of visit.

    As the first point of contact, you will make a positive, professional, and upbeat impression that reflects our commitment to delivering a positive patient experience. This position requires an outgoing, high-energy personality, good listening skills, resourcefulness, superior problem-solving and the ability to work as a team, as well as to accept direction on others.

    Primary Responsibilities

    · Reviews all patient demographic and insurance information prior to benefit verification.

    · Verifies with insurance carrier the patient eligibility, network participation, billing requirements and specific benefits for services.

    · Utilize online verification tools, as well as call insurance companies as required.

    · Obtains plan specific requirements including but not limited to in network referrals.

    · Add notes in EMR system with detailed explanation of benefit coverage.

    · Check in/out and collect payments.

    · Maintain HIPAA compliance in all interactions.

    · Bilingual candidates with Spanish language skills are highly desirable.

    · Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and staff.

    · Proficiency with standard office technology systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Scanners, familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
