    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team. In this role, you will gather and document information about clients for their doctors’ visits. Responsibilities include charting doctor’s appointments, operating electronic health records, and completing summaries of treatment sessions. We have office locations in Allen Park and Monroe, MI, candidates must be willing to commute to both offices.

    Responsibilities

    Documenting patients’ visits by taking notes and entering them in the electronic health records system

    Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation

    Coordinate with doctors to complete and submit medical records

    Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and healthcare staff

    Complete administrative tasks as requested

    Create imaging orders, lab orders, and referrals in patient charts, as directed by provider

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED or equivalent

    Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar position

    Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation

    Strong computer, transcription, grammar and spelling skills

    Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements

    Highly organized with excellent time-management skills

    Ability to work well under pressure
