    Medical Technologist, Generalist We are Looking for a Medical Technologist that has experience as a generalist. LCMS or PCR experience is a plus.

    About Ellipse Diagnostics: We are a laboratory management company that manages, staffs and oversees multiple labs in different parts of the country.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Perform all paperwork, technical, and non-technical procedures required to process and submit specimens. Assign specific computer generated identification numbers, checks for accuracy, and record all items processed. Learn and keep familiar with lab procedures and location of stored specimens. Know how to maintain, properly use and troubleshoot instrumentation. Know how to properly use all laboratory equipment such as automation machines, centrifuge, pipettes, fume hood, LIS and any other equipment located in the laboratory. Comply with all QC/QA procedures as outlined in Policy & Procedure documentation. Prepare solutions and standards per Procedure documentation located in the laboratory. Know how to certify data (review and quantify data) that is generated from an instrument and understand how to troubleshoot data when it does not meet criteria listed in Policy & Procedure documentation. Know how to use the LIS to send final reports to facilities requesting testing ensuring all ordered tests, test performed and certified data is correct. May fulfill other jobs/responsibilities as directed by management consistent with skill level and training. Comply with all Florida Department of Health, Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel requirements for Technologist license. Comply with all AAB, Medical Technologist requirements. Must be able to lift or pull over 25 pounds. Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours. Performs all other projects or duties assigned by Director of Operations or Lab Director.

    Qualifications:Basic Requirements for the Position: English is required to be spoken clearly and must be written clearly and legibly. The person must be able to communicate effectively with physician offices, office staff and patients/clients. Requirement for Licenses or Certifications: State of Florida MT license.     Pay:Start $65,000.00 per year. Negotiable depending on experience
