    About Progressive Pain & Rehabilitation: We are a small privately owned pain management practice that is brand new in the heart of The Woodlands area serving all surrounding areas. Our award winning Super doctor Edward A Nash has been serving the Houston and surrounding areas for over 15+ years and he is very recognized as one of the best pain management physician in town winning several awards from 2010 up to date. We are on a mission to grow as a company and are on a verge to be recognized by our community.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Answer incoming calls and inputs accurate registration data, such as patient demographics, insurance information, and clinical data into EMR software system

    Answers telephone calls according to designated scripting for the scheduling process. Maintains positive customer service at all times, referring unresolved issues to appropriate supervisor.

    Utilizes courteous and professional telephone techniques and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain rapport with patients, physicians/office staff and hospital personnel.

    Communicates with other Patient Access Services areas, Utilization Review, and any other departments and/or offices, any problems or additional information needs for authorization, referral, or pre-certification.

    Performs insurance eligibility checks for patients scheduled in clinic and works closely with billing manager to make sure financial requirements are met.

    Referrals will be faxed in and making sure to call patients to schedule appointments for surgery or in clinic visit.

    Gather medical records to get prior authorizations for procedures done in office before the patient visit.

    Qualifications:

    Medical terminology is highly required

    Advanced understanding in surgery procedure scheduling preferred

    Minimum (1) year experience in a medical office setting

    Advance Customer service skills is preferred

    Microsoft office and computer skills are highly required

    High School Diploma or GED required

    Any additional medical certifications will be highly valued
