Medical Records Clerk/Scanner is responsible for maintaining Electronic Health Records (EHR) for a outpatient mental health practice, ensuring that all pertinent information is properly scanned into each record.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Facilitate transfer of paper files to electronic files
- Process documents according to procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of patient health information
- Scan all files into correct patient EHR, under correct tab
- Meet the productivity standards for charts based on the number of charts scanned each week
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
