Medication Management Assistant
Job Summary: The Medication Management Assistant (MMA) plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care by efficiently managing administrative and operational tasks for the medication management team. This position ensures accurate documentation, coordination of medication-related services, and compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $22-$25 per hour.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Ability to analyze issues and suggest or determine solutions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Problem solving and analytical skills
Collaboration and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Teams
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Responsibilities Include:
Handle patient calls efficiently by prioritizing needs, communicating effectively with multiple providers, and responding promptly to patient concerns.
Process prescription refill requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
Measure and document patient vital signs.
Update patient charts to reflect changes in demographics, medications, diagnoses, allergies, and other relevant details.
Review and upload documents in patients charts for provider review.
Facilitate internal and external referrals as requested by providers.
Collaborate with the Client Access Team to ensure the timely and efficient handling of current and prospective patient needs.
Manage scheduling tasks, including booking, canceling, and rescheduling appointments.
Assist with collecting copays, resolving past due balances, and setting up payment plans when needed.
Perform additional tasks as assigned or required to support operations.
