    The Franciscan Renewal Center (aka the Casa) is a Catholic retreat center with 86 guest rooms and 24,000 square feet of meeting space located in the heart of Paradise Valley, AZ. The retreat center is seeking a dedicated hospitality professional. The Meetings & Conferences Coordinator books non-profit and religious group retreats and ensures seamless meetings for our guests. The Coordinator plays a pivotal role in creating peaceful and rejuvenating experiences that leave a lasting impact on our visitors. Attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills along with warm hospitality, contribute to the exceptional service we provide. Responsibilities: This full-time position reports to the Director of Meetings & Conferences and handles all aspects of a group's retreat, from screening phone calls, negotiating contracts, conducting site inspections, entering all meeting room set-up details and rooming lists in our system, to invoicing clients. Additional duties include taking individual private retreat reservations and entering in-house meetings in the Retreat Manager program Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Convention Services Manager or similar role • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Problem-solving skills to ensure the successful execution of a meeting or event • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed due to business levels Interested individuals should include a cover letter and current resume by April 14th.
