    I'm looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic person to assist with day-to-day business and administration activities - specifically, as a liaison between our clients and our sales team in the role of Inside Sales Customer Representative.     JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Customer Representative

    LOCATION: Houston, TX – Montrose and Spring Branch area.

    THE POSITION: You’ll work as an Inside Sales Customer Representative for Mekanix. This part-time work-from-home position functions as a midway point between our prospective clients and our sales team. The Inside Sales Customer Representative is responsible for calling prospective clients from our list of leads to set in-person appointments using scripts we will provide. Appointments are set between prospective clients and members of our sales team with the goal of selling gym memberships. The ideal individual is outgoing, articulate, organized, and can work flexible hours depending on lead volume.

    Fitness industry experience and experience with MindBody Online software also a plus.

    JOB HOURS: Part time. 3 - 4 hours/day, 5 days a week is anticipated. Best results are achieved if leads are followed up with as soon as they come in. Confirmations and follow-ups with leads are best done outside normal working hours (most prospects don’t want to talk during their own work day.)

    CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES INCLUDE:

    • Enter all leads into our CRM including name, phone, e-mail, log of each contact, and other relevant notes. Leads arrive from various places such as e-mail, Slack messages, or text messages from our central messaging system. It’s your responsibility to ensure all information is consolidated in the CRM.

    • Respond to all inbound leads in a timely manner. Responses made within 15 minutes (or even faster!) of initial contact will result in the best results.

    • Set appointments with prospective members by following the script provided by Mekanix.

    • Follow-up as needed to ensure prospect shows up for their appointment.

    • Report results on a regular (weekly) basis to the Studio Manager.

    • Commit to regular, weekly professional development using learning pathways provided by Mekanix.

    COMPENSATION: 1. $12/hr. 2. $5 bonus for each appointment set (a set appointment means CRM has been completely updated and the prospect completes the appointment)

    • Those who can’t or won’t commit to ongoing professional development done at least weekly

    • Those who are not results oriented. Success in this position means booking appointments.

    • You have experience setting appointments by phone.

    • You have experience with sales (preferred) and/or customer service.

    • You have good communication skills. You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone, and know how to conduct yourself professionally and deliver clear instructions to the clients. I’ll provide training, but I can’t teach you manners and professionalism.

    • You have great people skills and personality. You must LOVE working with people! This is an exciting studio and you must be able to show our athletes energy and excitement
