ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION RELATED INDUSTRY.

IN OFFICE JOB LOCATED IN OMAHA, NE

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills who manages their time effectively to get work completed on schedule. You must be able to answer questions from project managers or anyone regarding the status of an accounts payable or receivable invoice Knowledge of job cost systems in order to provide information/reports to Project Managers and leadership. Must have a 4 year accounting degree. Someone who loves working in a dynamic environment and who is process oriented will excel in this position!

JOB COSTING EXPERIENCE

• Sage or similar construction accounting software experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication, including, writing, speaking and active listening
• Collaboration and teamwork

RESPONSIBILITIES

• IFTA and Payroll taxes
• Manage Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
• Enter and maintain job costs, cost codes, change orders, and purchase orders
• Request invoices from subs and vendors when necessary
• Lead vendor and communication when inquiring on invoice/payment status
• Perform month end reconciliation for bank, credit card
• Perform month end cost accounting
• Invoice/expenses analysis and cost control
• Assist with year-end tax preparation
• Prepare closing journal entries
• Inner company, progress billing
