    Job Summary

    The primary responsibility of this position is to assist NorthRidge Community Credit Union to live our Core Purpose, 'We help lift the burden from our members and give them hope of a better tomorrow.'     In addition, this position is responsible for providing exceptional member experience while accurately processing transactions, opening accounts, providing product and service recommendations, etc. Use a sales through service attitude to demonstrate product knowledge and identify and meet the needs of the individual members.

    Responsibilities

    Assists members with front-line financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier checks etc. Communicates with members via phone, email, face to face, or any other means approved by NorthRidge to handle these transactions including electronic service assistance.

    Confidently recommends the appropriate products to members based on their needs. Opens new accounts, products and enrolls members in services that are relevant to them. Maintains accurate member account information on computer system such as address, phone, email, etc.

    Provide resolution for any issues the customer may have with their accounts or banking services.

    Network and develop relationships with potential clients

    Educate prospective and existing clients on financial products and services

    Remains in compliance with regulations and follows all BSA policy and procedures including the completion of annual BSA training. Accurately balances cash drawer, vault, ATM and daily transactions.

    Works on special projects and prepares required reports for management when needed.

    Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including filing, copying, data input.

    Qualifications

    A high school diploma or GED

    Up to six months of similar or related experience

    Familiarity with Microsoft Windows software

    Strong customer service and communication skills

    Ability to perform in a goal-oriented environment

    Customer-oriented approach to handling problems
