    Crunch Fitness in Midland Park, NJ is looking for a Membership Advisor/Front Desk Associate to join the team!

    Job Summary:

    The Membership Advisor/Front Desk Associate will be responsible for producing consistent monthly sales by enrolling prospective members in the club. He/She will demonstrate an aptitude and command of all company-wide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the Crunch brand.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club

    Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures

    Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in

    Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner

    Communicate special events to members and guests

    Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome

    Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager

    Maintain professional disposition at all times

    Sell retail products and work the juice bar making shakes

    Schedule member services: tanning, personal training, etc.

    Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures

    Know club facility, services, and schedules

    Responsible for external Membership Sales, bringing the business in.

    Gives tours and trial memberships to prospective members.

    Activate new memberships.

    Upgrade existing members into memberships of greater value.

    Engage in opportunities that positively impact the member experience.

    Adhere to all operational excellence standards related to providing a great member experience.

    Consistently look for opportunities to gain new members.

    Prospect for qualified leads and create traffic through mailers, referrals, outreach, etc.

    Field corporate opportunities.

    Create external partnerships with vendors for in-club promotions.

    Responsible for flyer distribution.

    Develop relations within community and local small businesses by involving club in community events.

    Build a network of contacts through prospecting and referrals.

    Determine prospect’s goals and motivation, be knowledgeable of all products, programs and services and ensure prospects understand the value of our services.

    Reach and surpass monthly sales projections.

    Attend sales and training meetings as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    Previous sales and customer service experience a must.

    Fitness club experience preferred

    Confidence to perform on an incentive based compensation plan

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition

    Personal passion for health and fitness

    Enjoy working within a team

    Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
