The Membership and Development Manager at Arts Bonita is critical in driving the organization's mission to enrich the community through visual and performing arts. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to increase membership, secure funding, and manage donor relationships. The manager will lead efforts to support Arts Bonita's diverse programming, including over 100 performances annually, theater productions, youth and adult education, and signature fundraising events such as the "Off The Walls" auction and gala. Additionally, the role will be pivotal in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Arts Bonita Visual Art Center and the Arts Bonita National Fine Art Festivals.

Key Responsibilities:
Membership Development:
Design and implement strategies to increase membership enrollment and retention.
Provide concierge services to members, ensuring a high level of personalized service and engagement.
Manage membership benefits, communications, and engagement initiatives.
Analyze membership trends and develop plans to meet annual revenue goals.
Fundraising and Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to support Arts Bonita's mission, focusing on major gifts, annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and planned giving.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the Off The Walls, Arts Bonita signature fundraising event, ensuring it exceeds financial goals, assist the Off The Walls committee with securing live and silent auction items, oversee all correspondence and working with the Marketing Department to promote the event.
Lead efforts to secure sponsorships and grants for over 100 performances annually, including theater and music
Develop giving incentives for adult and youth educational programs.
Work closely with the executive team to plan and execute special initiatives, including the 25th-anniversary celebrations of the Arts Bonita Visual Art Center and the Arts Bonita National Fine Art Festivals.
Donor Relations and Stewardship:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
Develop and implement donor recognition programs and ensure timely acknowledgment of gifts.
Prepare reports, proposals, and communications to engage and inform donors effectively.
Event Planning and Management:
Plan and oversee special events, including donor appreciation events, fundraising galas, and community outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing and programming teams to ensure events align with Arts Bonita's mission and branding.
Grant Writing and Reporting:
Research, identify, and apply for grants to support Arts Bonita's programs and initiatives.
Prepare grant proposals, reports, and documentation to meet funder requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, business, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or membership management, preferably in a non-profit or arts organization.
Proven track record of successful fundraising, grant writing, and event management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors, members, and community partners.
Experience with donor management software and CRM systems (Knowledge of NEON is a plus).
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Evening and weekends as needed
