Job Summary : The Culinary Attendant is responsible for preparing and packaging popcorn for distribution to all concession tents. This role involves ensuring the quality and consistency of popcorn, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with inventory management and supply logistics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and package popcorn according to company standards to ensure high quality and consistency.
• Monitor and maintain popcorn inventory levels, communicating with the Concessions Manager to replenish supplies as needed.
• Ensure that all popcorn is handled and stored according to sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the distribution of packaged popcorn to concession tents.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to food preparation and packaging.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of popcorn preparation areas as needed.
• Operate popcorn machines and other equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate effectively with concession staff and management to address any supply or quality issues promptly.

• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that generates a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Basic understanding of food preparation and packaging techniques.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy items as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage or event industry.
• Familiarity with popcorn preparation and packaging equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to food service.

Rate of Pay : $18.00 per hour. This position typically works a 40-hour work week.
