Job Description

KIOXIA America Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to intern as a Business Intelligence, Dashboarding, Excel Application Development & Automation Specialist. This role will be crucial in developing and maintaining our business intelligence infrastructure, creating insightful dashboards, and automating key processes using Excel and other relevant tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent technical skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Creation: Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Excel and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
• Excel Application Development: Help develop and maintain complex Excel applications, including custom functions, macros (VBA), and user interfaces, to automate data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
• Automation: Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions using Excel, scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA), and other automation tools.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and concise data visualizations to communicate complex information effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all BI solutions, dashboards, and Excel applications.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to use BI tools and Excel applications.

Qualifications

• pursing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA programming, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL and database management principles.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

The expected salary for this position is $25 - $30/hour.
