Mental Health Clinical Therapist
Please join our unique program where you will be part of a collaborative team, with a small caseload. We have an individualized program that provides mental health support and empowerment to adults with mental illness with the goal of becoming independent in the community. Colorado Recovery is hiring for a clinical therapist with the opportunity for flexible hours . In this position you will be part of our clinical team working with clients who are part of our Transitional Living and outpatient programs.
What you will be doing:
Providing individual and group therapy.
Writing treatment plans in collaboration with the client and all treatment team members
Providing crisis Intervention as needed
Documenting contact with clients, writing progress notes, and attendance at groups & vocational activities
Accurately and professionally documenting resident activities and treatment progress, critical incidents, and other documentation necessary in the course of duties
Communicating (through a variety of methods, team meetings, rounds, etc.) with other members of multidisciplinary team (Case Managers, Therapists, Program Director, Nurse, Providers, etc.) as necessary for the effective management of the milieu and support of treatment plan implementation
Perform case management duties determined by the client’s level of functioning and need for such services including, but not limited to linkage with vocation services, transportation services, other community appointments and community access
Assist clients in applying for public benefits such as Medicaid, SSI or SSDI as needed
What will help you be successful in this role:
M.A, M.S., or M.S.W. in Social Work or Human Service field and 2+ years’ experience working with persons with emotional and/or mental health difficulties
Professional licensure required LCSW, LPC, or LPCC;
Valid driver’s license
Must be comfortable with significant family contact
Ability to encourage compliance with rules in a firm, consistent, and professional manner
Ability to properly protect the emotional, psychological, and physical health, safety, and well-being of Colorado Recovery clients
Proficient use of evidence-based practices, such as DBT and CBT
Perform duties in Colorado Recovery electronic system
Excellent communication skills with clients, families and staff
This is a unique opportunity that allows for a flexible schedule, and can be part time (20 hours a week) up to full time (40 hours per week). The salary range is $26 - $35 per hour depending on your experience. We have a 401K plan that becomes available to you after one year of service and a minimum of 1000 hours worked. You begin accruing vacation and sick time right away. You will also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance immediately if you work 24 or more hours per week.
