Mental Health Consultation Program Manager ($10,000 Hiring Bonus!)
We are assisting a non-profit organization seeking a driven and dedicated Mental Health Consultation Manager. Based in the Santa Barbara Area, this role will oversee the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of a comprehensive infant and early childhood mental health consultation program aimed at supporting the social-emotional well-being of infants, young children, and their caregivers. The Manager oversees the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the program, ensuring activities are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with best practices.
Position Summary
Provide direction for the team and oversee all services provided. Facilitate and participate in regular administrative supervision, clinical/group supervision, reflective supervision, team meetings, and agency-wide meetings. Participate in training and work towards certification in relevant modalities, as directed by the Senior Manager.
Maintain oversight of program expenditures to ensure costs are within the approved budget, and inform necessary budgetary changes, modifications, and priorities. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to program activities, consultations, and outcomes. Maintain active clinical license withthe California licensing board (BBS or BOP) and provide clinical supervision as needed.
Prepare regular reports for funders, stakeholders, and governing bodies to demonstrate program impact and compliance.
Conduct outreach activities and community training to raise awareness about the importance of infant and early childhood mental health and promote access to consultation services. Establish and maintain partnerships with local agencies, organizations, and stakeholders involved in early childhood development and mental health.
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of infant and early childhood mental health consultants.

Requirements:
Must be licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) -OR- eligible to be registered with the CA Board of Psychology as a Registered Psychologist.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years’ clinical experience post-licensure required. Previous experience in program management, supervision, and staff development, preferably in the field of early childhood mental health. At least three years of experience providing mental health services to children zero to five years of age.
