Job Overview We are a fun practice that uses play and other experiential therapies to help child, teens, adults, and families support their mental health and emotional well-being. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team. We would offer free supervision to obtain your LCSW. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic services to children and families. This role requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations while delivering high-quality care.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments for children and families to identify mental health needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.

Provide therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and child family counseling.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients.

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Stay informed about psychopharmacology to effectively communicate with prescribing professionals regarding client needs.

Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in pediatrics and systems of care.

Experience

A minimum of two years of experience working with children in a mental health or school setting is preferred.

Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and behavioral therapy approaches.

Strong understanding of medical documentation requirements and HIPAA regulations.

Experience in child family counseling is highly desirable.

A valid LSW license is required for this position.
