Job Title: LPC/LCSW Mental Health Counselor/Therapist
Job Location: Sterling Heights, Michigan (Hybrid in person/remote)

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) to join our team of mental health professionals. This position will also be a billable provider for the company in mental health for Michigan.
Job Summary:
As an LPC/LCSW Mental Health Counselor/Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. You will utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and facilitate the therapeutic process aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and client needs.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions.
- Monitor and document clients' progress in accordance with clinical and ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, medical personnel, and community resources to provide holistic care.
- Participate in supervision and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
- Stay informed about current research and trends in mental health counseling and integrate this knowledge into practice.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Foster a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for clients.
- Engage in outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness in the community.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Active and unrestricted LPC or LCSW licensure in Michigan.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based practices, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices preferred.
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
