Job Schedule:** 5/14/25 (9:00am- 4:30pm). **
Job Type:** Per Diem; 1099 Contract. **
Pay Rate:** $80- $85/ hr.

Full Job Description :

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Mental Health Counselor **** to provide mental health counseling services for employees of a private business in New York, NY. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical care to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment for mental health conditions.
• Create treatment plans and therapies to improve clients' well-being.
• Conduct individual and/or group counseling sessions in person and through telemedicine.
• Maintain clients documentation.
• Support clients in stress reduction and other aspects of mental health.
• Respond to client's ad hoc needs through online chat.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree (in Counseling, Psychology, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling).

• Active New York MSW, LMSW or LCSW License.

• Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) preferred.

• At least five years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor.

• Experience with law enforcement environment preferred.

• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, EMR systems.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with little supervision to no supervision.

• Must be able to reliably commute to New York, NY.
